About Me

I don’t know about you, but I really struggle to write about myself.  I always feel it’s such a tricky thing to do, because you want to tell people about what you do, how you do it and why you do it that particular way, but you also don’t want to sound a particular way.  If you know what I am saying.

Even when it comes to starting a new job and they ask you to write about yourself so they can put a brief profile of you on their website. I often joke (because I am awkward) and say something silly like, I’m an Aries, my favourite colour is green, I love a good pinot noir and I bloody love property management.  But apparently, that type of personal summary doesn’t cut the mustard for a professional profile.

You can ask me about the rental market in Brisbane, you can ask me what to do to prepare your property so that it’s ready for the market, you can even ask me how to clean your shower grout without breaking your back, but just don’t ask me to talk about myself.

All I can say is that Property Management is my passion and funnily enough something that I randomly fell into back (way back), when I was 21.  Since then, there has literally been no turning back.

I think it was the second agency I worked in at the start of my real-estate career, I was the receptionist, and crikey – what an experience.  I had never felt more stress and pressure from what I thought was a pretty simple role.  It was through this role, that I started to pay close attention to how they were servicing their clients, and thought to myself, I will NOT be like them! If someone calls me, I will answer.  I will not take two weeks to reply to someone, I will not sweep problems under the rug or yell at people down the phone line.

And here we are. I absolutely adore all of my clients, tenants and landlords alike. They have my number and can communicate with me anytime.  We organise lunches and drinks and we have a great and successful working relationship.
