Mould

I have recently visited a number of properties where there has been small amounts of mould growth, no thanks to the weather we have been experiencing across South East QLD over the past year. In light of this, I thought it best to provide everyone with some information on mould, what you can do to help minimise mould growth in your home and whose responsibility it is to clean it.

The best way to prevent mould growth in your home is to ensure your home is well ventilated. To do this, you can;

Open windows and doors to allow air-flow.
If you have ceiling fans or an air-conditioner, use these in conjunction with opening doors and windows.
Have your air con running on dry or fan instead of cool/heat etc.

If you ever notice mould in your property please notify me by sending a maintenance request through Managedapp and please include photos and note where in the property it’s located and when you first noticed it.
This will aid myself, the owners and the trades people we engage to resolve the issue.
